Back in Graytown

BW3s for dinner. Mom just got in from Denver so we were all happy to be together.

I wanted to buy a shirt for myself from this place. Ha ha ha

Beau was so happy to see his mom on her first day back.

Cool fun on a hot evening. Bonus--grandpa got his lawn and plants watered.

Around and around in circles.

Dad didn't grill much when mom was gone.

On the road again

Good bye, Aunt Cecelia! Than you for a fantastic time at your house!

The view as we were driving away...a 5-hour trip back to Toledo ahead of us.

A good dinner on our last evening

Uncle Tony made yummy pesto pasta and grammae made a salad.

One of Gemma's favorite pastimes...pushing the speakerphone button on the phone.

Watching YouTube videos with our very "hip" Nana.

By Nana! We hope to see you soon when we visit next!

Last day in Indiana

Pics from our last full day in Indiana (Tuesday):

We ate at A Nice Restaurant, they had great food, especially the French toast.

The church in New Albany was just beautiful.

Lunch at a park with Aunt Letitia and grammae. We didn't stay long given that the temperature was near 100 degrees.

Mansion

After our gumbo-fest we took a drive to New Albany to see where Eric and Charlie live, and where Adam and Ashley will live when they return from their honeymoon. This mansion was built as a widows' home. More recently it was a bed & breakfast before it was converted to apartments.

Here is Charlie's apartment. It is fully furnished with awesome antiques like a hundred-year-old sofa, massive four-poster bed, and old radio to serve as a end table. (if you look closely you can see grammae in the background talking to her imaginary friend, Carl)

The back of the mansion...beautiful back yard with mature landscaping and room to garden.

Eric's studio apartment, also fully furnished. In this photo I am standing in the kitchen area, facing towards the front of the house. Behind me are the bathrooms in the back. It was funny, he has one real bathroom, and an extra shower. They think it has something to do with the maids' quarters.

Beautiful house, lots of history, I think they are really lucky to be there!
