Burby is trying to get all his laziness in before summer ends and he resumes his job as "school room cat":
Hannah goes off to college this week, so last Thursday was our last day with her:
We will miss her!! But all good things must come to an end, so now it is time for me to experience life with five kids and no daytime help. I think I can do it--Gemma is a lot more reasonable than she was even earlier this summer, and she will be a part of our school this year. I think she will really like being a "big girl" and will step up to the challenge of staying out of trouble and helping around the house. We're looking forward to a great school year!

Tell Burby that Pixel likes the top bunk too :-) I don't want to hurt his feelings by saying that the bunk bed looks like it's about ready to snap under all that weight ;-)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great summer reading program, lots of books! What are each of their favorite types of books? Does bunny do book reports yet?
When does school start? Is it going to be hard with sedric, or will he just sleep? What grades are all the kids in now?
