We've had a Five Guys Burgers just 15 minutes from us for a few years now, but we've never been to it! This was our first trip, and it was a big success:

We only got hot dogs (and fries) for simplicity, and they were fantastic. They're sliced in half and then grilled, along with the bun. I really want to try the burgers soon. The fries were fresh-cut and reminded me of fair fries, complete with malt vinegar on the side. Not as good as Fiske's Fries though.... :o) Ahhh, Ingham County Fair memories....
You have to have a hamburger at 5 Guys, not a hot dog. Also, you didn't mention the peanuts. Or didn't they have peanuts at yours?
ReplyDeleteyes, I forgot to mention the peanuts! These young kids never really had peanuts in the shell before (can you believe that?) That was fun for them. And yes I will go back to have a hamburger! Maybe sooner than later.... ;o)
