Mariposa at school
Every school day, which is usually M/T/W/F, Bunny takes Gemma out of the school room for "preschool" and I get some one-on-one time with my 1st grader:
She is really enjoying math, and she tolerates phonics and religion. :o)
But her favorite subject is snack time!

i know! she is so old all of a sudden!
DeleteFor 1st grade math we use the workbook in the picture (by A Beka). She loves it! :o) She'll be learning the normal counting, add/sub, money, and time. We also have various math games (bingo etc.) and other gadgets (clock, blocks, tangrams). And you know that nothing is as good as real-world examples (baking, shopping, etc.)!! :o)
