Sweet days like this make me very grateful that we live in the country. It isn't easy--SO much work to maintain property!--but just thinking about all the experiences that we're giving our kids makes it all worth it. The cost of land…the long years in a tiny house…pinching pennies the first years of our marriage…hours on the weekends "without a husband" as Marcus mows and maintains…cost of chicken feed and vet bills...yes, it is all worth it!!!
